Communicating in a Crisis, Handling a Fatal Accident Presentation | Presented by Pam Reipold, Travel Kuz
Description
The Women In Buses (WIB) Council exists to recognize and advance the role of women in the motorcoach industry through networking, education, and mentoring programs. Join us for networking roundtables and luncheon. The keynote for our lunch program will be Pam Reipold from Travel Kuz on “Communicating in a Crisis, Handling a Fatal Accident”.
Accidents happen when you least expect them. Is your business prepared to deal with a crisis? Learn more about why it is important to have a crisis plan and what are the key elements of one so you aren’t caught off guard should you ever have an incident happen. Learn valuable lessons from a one of your peers. As a school bus operator, it was one of her worst nightmares - one of her students is killed onboard one of her vehicles. A few years ago, F.M. Kuzmeskus, who operates over 130 school buses, had an incident that resulted in a student fatality. During this session, learn from Pam Reipold about her experience, and consider her recommendations for best practices to help you and your staff avoid a similarly tragic situation.
