ABA Applauds Trump Administration for Delaying Real ID Deadline
The American Bus Association (ABA) – the industry leader advancing North American motorcoach travel and tourism – applauds the Trump Administration for delaying the enforcement of the Real ID mandate, which was set to go into effect Oct. 1, 2020.
In a statement, ABA President & CEO Peter Pantuso said:
“We appreciate the Trump Administration’s caution for extending the deadline for the Real ID mandate. While Americans are social distancing, they will be eager to travel once the COVID-19 pandemic has passed us. By extending the deadline, he ensures that we can get America moving and traveling again.”
