Timing may not be everything, but it is important. Bringing the annual American Bus Association convention to Cleveland six months after the Republican National Convention meant that 800 bus-tour operators — people who will decide which cities and national parks thousands of travelers will visit in the next couple of years — got a firsthand look at the city in top condition.
The ABA is a 4,000-member Washington, D.C.-based trade association for motor coach operators and tour companies in the United States and Canada. It held its annual meeting at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland from Jan. 14 to 17.
