Suzanne Te Beau Rohde

Suzanne Te Beau Rohde joined ABA in April 2015 as vice president of government affairs and policy. She has an extensive public service career in the field of transportation, engaging in the development and implementation of policy, legislation, and regulation, as well as managing various transportation legal matters. She has held senior positions in both the legislative and executive branches of the federal government, serving two secretaries of transportation, members of Congress, and a member of the National Transportation Safety Board.
Te Beau Rohde also has held positions in the private sector, with several transportation consulting firms and a law firm serving clients in the transportation industry.
In both her private and public positions, Te Beau Rohde has successfully engaged government and industry representatives, building partnerships and coalitions, to advance a number of transportation safety and economic initiatives.
Te Beau Rohde received her A.B. from the University of Michigan, with a major in Political Science and emphasis in Business. She received her J.D. from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and attended Johns Hopkins University for continued studies.
