Women in Buses Council (WIB)

Women in Buses Council (WIB) exists to recognize and advance the role of women in the motorcoach industry through networking, education and mentoring programs. It was created in 2011 and is a program of the American Bus Association. Since that time, the leadership, structure, and activities of the Council have been developing to meet the goals of the Council.

WIB Wednesdays Series | 2:00 PM  ET

Monthly virtual meeting of Women in Buses members. The series is held on the first Wednesday of each month.

Meet & Eat Series | 1:00 PM ET

Gather, share, and network monthly with other Women in Buses Council members on the third Wednesday of each month.

Book Club

The idea for the book club was formed in 2020 to keep growing in knowledge, networking, and leadership throughout the year.



Currently, the Council’s membership is open to all industry members who actively support Women in Buses’ mission. The Council’s leadership team consists of thirteen members, including a Chair, Past Chair, Membership and marketing Chair, Membership Vice Chair, Marketing Vice Chair, Communications Vice Chair, three Committee Chairs/Vice Chairs, and Sponsor Liaison.

The American Bus Association serves a thriving industry that provides nearly 600 million passenger trips annually on charters, tours, scheduled service, and shuttles. Membership in ABA includes motorcoach operators, tour operators, tourism-related organizations, and products and service suppliers.
