FY 2023 Intercity Bus Security Grant Program Application Roll Out and Q&A with FEMA (Hosted by ABA)

The motorcoach industry continually strives to improve the safety and security of bus operations. Over the past few years, enhancing motorcoach security has become a key issue for all motorcoach operators and a priority issue for the nation as a whole as motorcoaches visit nearly all of our nation’s historic landmarks, pass along or through much of our critical infrastructure, and transport nearly 600 million passengers annually.

Since 2003, nearly $120 million in grants have been awarded to the motorcoach industry by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the Intercity Bus Security Grant Program (IBSGP).

DHS recently released the FY 2023 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Announcement for the Intercity Bus Security Grant Program (IBSGP) as well as other Preparedness Grant Programs on February 27, 2023. Completed applications are due by May 18, 2023.

You will have a total of 80 days to submit your applications through www.grants.gov, but there are many steps in the registration process. This webinar will get you on the fast track to being prepared.
