The motorcoach industry continually strives to improve the safety and security of bus operations. Over the past few years, enhancing motorcoach security has become a vital issue for all motorcoach operators and a priority issue for the nation as a whole as motorcoaches visit nearly all of our nation’s historic landmarks, pass along or through much of our critical infrastructure, and transport nearly 600 million passengers annually.

Since 2003, over $120 million in grants have been awarded to the motorcoach industry by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the Intercity Bus Security Grant Program (IBSGP). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently released the FY 2024 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Announcement for the Intercity Bus Security Grant Program (IBSGP) as well as other Preparedness Grant Programs on April 16, 2024 and are open for application.

Completed applications are due by June 24, 2024.

You will have a total of 69 days to submit your application, but there are several steps in the registration process. This webinar will get you on the fast track to being prepared and explaining the changes to this year’s grant program.

Also, learn more about the new application process and how you can get set up for success.
